I am a blessed wife, mother, foodie, wellness warrior, and educator striving to live an intentional life for my family! The catalyst for my inspiration in nutrition was my pregnancy with our son. God placed this deep desire for me to learn more about holistic, healthy living, once I realized I was now responsible for a precious child.

The perpetual daily demands and schedules in life were constantly leaving me stressed, tired, overwhelmed, and often neglected. After the birth of our son, I found it hard to “bounce back” from the pregnancy. The weight was hard to lose and other health challenges began to take a toll on my body. Doctors did not think I had any “real issues”. However, I did not find their prognosis acceptable, especially since I was in my late thirties. So I decided to take my health into my own hands.

I chose a holistic means of healing my body through naturopathic methods and eating whole foods. It wasn’t a “quick fix”, but everyday I knew my body was getting better. The more I researched the reasons for my body’s breakdown, I was stunned at how many other women encounter these same challenges.

This is when the idea to educate other families on living a holistic, healthy lifestyle first bloomed. I started sharing resources and information with friends and family when they would have a health issue or a nutrition question. Then eventually I started attending nutrition workshops, conventions, and holding wellness presentations for small groups of friends and family.

With great support from my family and friends, I took my passion for nutrition education to the next level and went back to school! I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and I am now a Certified Holistic Health Coach and registered with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health.

Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a blueprint for a “road map to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

We are all different and no one has the same diet and lifestyle; for we are all fearfully and wonderfully made! I am so excited to help educate others, empowering their minds to enrich their lives and even loved ones!

God desires for us to live a vibrant and healthy life. So don’t settle for less!

  1. This is fascinating. Your husband has been educating me about how the grocery store is laid out with regard to healthy and unhealthy food. Such things never even crossed my mind. I would be interested to know your thoughts on services like Alice.com. I am thinking it might be best to use them to save money on groceries and time. Also, are you a fan of Ezekiel(sprout) Bread, which is found in the frozen food section?

    1. Thanks for stopping by Lamar! We do on occasion, eat Ezekiel bread. We prefer the cinnamon raisin. However, recently after much research, I tend to be steering my family toward a wheat-free diet 🙂 I am not familiar with Alice.com. I briefly perused through the site and I’m not sure how great their prices are compared to the local stores. You also have to purchase a certain dollar amount for free shipping, so that could get pricey in the long run. For foods items, I buy predominately fresh produce and organic meat from the market. We have very little boxed or canned food in our home. I cook from scratch for the most part. It can be time consuming, but that is where we have placed our priorities in living a healthful lifestyle 🙂 I do offer healthy shopping tours if you are interested. In the tour I teach you how to shop “strategically” in your local grocery store, read food labels, how to get past the deceptive marketing, save money, and much more. Looking forward in connecting with you. Have a blessed and healthy day!
